Live From New York, C.K. comma Louis

Louis C.K. debuted as a first time host last week and he didn't disappoint! Fun. performed and of course they rocked it!

I loved how in the monologue they tried to make him as comfortable as possible. He did stand up with a stoll and water, you know the reg.

Worth watching over and over again is the Lincoln sketch. It was a parody of his show, Louis. I love how they are making the pre taped videos! BUT I STILL MISS DIGITAL SHORTS!!!

Live From New York, A Gift From Mars

I knew it!! I tweeted on Oct. 1st that Bruno Mars was going to be a good SNL host and I was right! Lots of people on twitter said they were suprised at how good he was...BUT I KNEW!

This October 20th episode is a must watch!! Everything from the cold open to the ending was fab!  Tom Hanks even dropped in! You can watch the whole episode on NBC.com but they cut out the best sketch due to licensing :(

Here is the link to the best sketch of the show, Pandora Intern

http://www.gossipcop.com/bruno-mars-snl-pandora-video-impressions-impersonations-saturday-night-live-michael-jackson-justin-bieber-watch/

The other highlights of the show were the cold open (loved when jay (obama) dropped the mic!), the Merryville Brothers and Stefon!!! I was having Stefon withdrawls so I was estatic to see him! Bill cracked the most during this Stefon installment than any other!

Live From New York, X-Tina's Back

The last time Christina Applegate hosted SNL was in 1993! She was in the first "Van Down By the River" sketch with the legendary Chris Farley. Before you read on if you never watched (which is shameful) here it is...

Highlights of the night:

Tech Talk:
"hmmmm let me think, what's made im America?" Best sketch of the night!

Watch Here:

I loved the Passion Pit performances! Great band! They performed Take a Walk and Carried Away.

Live From New York, A Failed 007 Mission

Daniel Craig wanted to prove that he was funny. His SNL stint on October 6th did not help his "funny reputation". He basically overplayed his parts and didn't add anything to all of the sketches.

The best sketch of the night was called "Bond Girls" and featured spot-on impressions of Ellen DeGeneres from Kate McKinnon among others.

Watch Here:
http://www.joblo.com/movie-news/cool-videos-snl-skit-with-daniel-craig-featuring-the-other-bond-girls

One sketch that I did get a laugh outta me was "Loving Couple". Fred was in drag first off and towards the end of the sketch Bill, Vanessa, and Fred started to break a little which I always love!

Live From New York, Magic Mike 2

The adorable Joseph Gordon-Levitt hosted SNL this past Saturday night. The monologue had all the ladies swooning. Channing Tatum needs to get on the phone asap and cast Joseph in Magic Mike 2. Also the hypnotist sketch was hilarious. This reminded me so much of the hypnotist at an event after my graduation. Oh and Taran was down to his tighty whities and I was very ok with that.

Here is the monologue:

Live From New York, The Man of Many Voices

Seth Macfarlane hosted the season premiere of Saturday Night Live on September 15th. Seth's impression of Ryan Lochte made this episode.

Here it is:

Live From New York, A New York Giant

This past Saturday, 2 time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning hosted. He started off good but things just got flatter as the show went on. Hey, he wasn't in his element and I didn't have any high hopes for this episode so I wasn't dissapointed.

Highlights:
Hulu has all the vids

Monologue: Even though he kinda skidded right through it (not pausing for audience applauses), he impressed me lol

Text Message Evidence: The banana picture...omg

So yeah, only 2 sketches that were kinda above average. But, Manning was a good sport, willing to do whatever the writers wrote.

Rihanna sung "Birthday Cake"/"Talk That Talk" and "Where Have You Been" while patting her private parts and singing 10% of a prerecorded song. It was a mix of Lana Del Ray's and Ashlee Simpson's performances...

Live From New York, Brolin Is Back

This past Saturday Josh Brolin hosted SNL for the second time. The Men in Black III star's enthusiasm was what made this episode successful. And....the writing was actually good this week!

Highlights:

Cold Open:
This cold open was one of the best of the season! It featured the Republican candiates who sang Green Day's "Good Riddance".

Monologue:
Jay Pharaoh's Will Smith impression! I've missed it!

The Californians:
I couldn't stop laughing during this absurd sketch! Well mostly because Bill Hader pulled a Jimmy Fallon and couldn't stop laughing! After it was over I started talking like them!

Laser Cats:
OMG I was sooo excited when Andy and Bill walked in with the tv on the stand cause that meant another Laser Cats!! I think it would be so fun to run around the 30 Rock hallways and do this!  Before you watch this one you need to go back and watch the others!

Slow Motion Hallway:
This was a stupid sketch but I put it under the highlights because Taran Killam looked really hot in it :)

Here you can watch most of the vids :) http://popwatch.ew.com/2012/04/15/saturday-night-live-recap-josh-brolin-gotye/

The musical guest was Gotye who had a pretty good performance.

Live From New York, Ads and Sofia Vergara!

It wasn't Sofia, who put her full effort into this Saturday's SNL, that made this episode forgetful.....it was the writing. But Sofia made the best with what she got and entertained with her Juan Directions!

The Highlights:

Sofia's Fran Drescher (I had to turn the volume down lol), Taran Killam's impression of Michael Cera and Kristen Wiig's impression of Drew Barrymore in "Bein Quirky with Zooey Deschanel".

(sorry, youtube doesn't have it)

The commercial with Andy and Jason which was hilarious!

(:( Youtube)

The Almost Pizza commercial was genius!! I loved Hader's "What the F!" He makes every sketch better!

Watch Here: (Sorry only youtube vid I could find of it)

The Manuel Ortiz Show featuring One Direction!

(damn youtube doesn't have full version)

Watch What Happens Live:

If you ever watched wwhl on Bravo you will laugh at this!! This sketch also gave us our first look at new castmember Kate Mckinnon and from her Tabitha impression, she has a bright future in SNL.

The last sketch of the night which was a parody of The Hunger Games.

One Direction were the musical guests and they sang their hit, "What Makes You Beautiful" and some other song idk the name of. It was nice to listen to some upbeat music unlike SNL's usual musical guests.

What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?

In Janurary I preordered The Buried Life's book, "What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?" because they tweeted that they were gonna sign all the preordered books. Well after 45 minutes of standing in my driveway, it arrived in the mail!!! It's not a stamp autograph....it's the real thing!!! I pretty much hugged the book knowing that Ben touched it!! <3 <3

This book is sooooo inspiring that I dug through my closet to find my list that I started back in 2009 when they had their tv show on MTV, and I added a bunch more stuff!! (I'm too lazy to type it all, sorry).

Stupid MTV cancelled their show just after 2 seasons but good news.......the guys have signed a new contract with MTV so hopefully we will see them on the silver screen very soon!

Here's a happy me with the book....

Live From New York, A Flattened Hill

Jonah Hill didn't seem into hosting this past Saturday on SNL or maybe it was the writer's fault. I actually had high expectations for him but his came short this week. And to add...he was really skinny when he was a guest on Late Night....sooo sad that he "relapsed".

Highlights:

Monolouge:

The only thing that made this monolouge good was a suprise appearence by Tom Hanks! He rubbed his Academy Award in Jonah's face and was actually entertaining unlike Jonah's backstage video.

Watch Here:

Weekend Update:

Stefon's back!! Bill Hader couldn't contain himself as always but got my reward for the best part of the night! Oh, and Seth got a smootch too.....

The last sketch of the night included Hill and Wiig singing Coolio's "C U When U Get There" was one if really only sketch of the night that was full of energy.

The musical guests were The Shins, who unlike the rest of the episode, was pretty good. They sang "Simple Song" and "It's Only Life."

Live From New York, An Overshadowed Comeback

Lindsay Lohan got want she wanted, another chance to host SNL....and she blew it. She constantly flubbed her lines while being overshadowed by the SNL cast members.

Highlights:

Monologue:

It was nice to see Lindsay make fun of herself but she was overshadowed by Kristen Wiig and Jimmy Fallon. I loved when she stepped off of the stage and the alarm went off!

Watch Here:
<iframe id="NBC Video Widget" width="512" height="347" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=1388793" frameborder="0"></iframe>

The Real Housewives of Disney:

This was genius!! It needs to be a regular segment! Lindsay took the back seat while Wiig stole the show with her rebellious Cinderella.

Watch Here:
<iframe id="NBC Video Widget" width="512" height="347" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=1388796" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Scared Straight:

Lindsay couldn't even remember what happened in the movies she was in, she was starring at the cue cards the whole time! Too many drugs I say! The best part ironically came when Lindsay left the stage and Jason flopped down on the table and got Bill, Andy, and Bobby to crack up! Classic moment!

Watch Here:
<iframe id="NBC Video Widget" width="512" height="347" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=1388773" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Weekend Update:

Bill Hader never disappoints! His James Carville "The King of Snakes" had me laughing. My fav move of his was the card dealing. Bobby stopped by as Snooki and gave Jon Hamm a boot to the car. All he wants is for her to love him!

Watch Here:
<iframe id="NBC Video Widget" width="512" height="347" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=1388820" frameborder="0"></iframe>

<iframe id="NBC Video Widget" width="512" height="347" src="http://www.nbc.com/assets/video/widget/widget.html?vid=1388807" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Jack White:

The Johnny Depp/Tim Burton look alike did pretty good but nothing special.

Carrie Underwood's Fourth Album Revealed

I've been a fan of Carrie Underwood even before she claimed the American Idol title. Her first album, Some Hearts was just a taste of what she was capable of. Now nearly 5 years after she released Some Hearts Carrie is coming out with her fourth album, Blown Away. What an appropriate title! May 1st is the day to what for but till then you have the first single off of the album, Good Girl, which shows off Underwood's rock side.

"Would You Stop By SNL This Saturday?"

Last night on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Lindsay Lohan was a guest. She is hosting SNL this weekend and she invited Jimmy to stop by!!! This could actually turn out to be a great show!

When they first announced that Lohan was hosting I thought it'll probably be a trainwreck but then I thought of all of the memorable sketches she was in like the classic Debbie Downer sketch back in 2004. This sketch is memorable because everyone couldn't stop laughing. Take a look....

http://www.hulu.com/watch/68225/saturday-night-live-debbie-downer

Jeff Musial Retweeted Me!!!

So I got twitter in December to stalk celebrities (who doesn't??). Even though that was my goal, I've actually tweeted quite a bite and it's sad that only 14 people follow me because they're all missing out :) @mgoulie is my twitter ;) Ok, enough flattering myself.....

The other day, Sunday February, 26 2012 to be exact was Johnny Cash's birthday. I was never a fan of his but when I saw that it was his b-day (in the twitter stories of course), I thought I should give a little b-day shout out to the late legend. Thanks to Jeff Musial, the animal expert who is a regular guest on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon and who is one half of Jimmy's bromance, whenever I hear Johnny Cash's name I think of Johnny Cash, the name of the rattle snake that he brought on the show last March. My thoughts started racing and I thought why not give it a try and see if Jeff responds or retweets, so I tweeted, "Happy Birthday Johnny Cash! My fav "Johnny Cash" moment thanks to @JeffAnimalGuy" and I attached a vid of him with Johnny Cash the rattle snake on Late Night courtesy of my ipod's vid (man, idk what i would do without it!).

So Sunday night after I came home from making a sick ass shirt for the rec bball playoffs I checked twitter and it said Jeff Musial retweeted you!!!!! Ahhhhhhh I couldn't contain my excitment, I let the facebook world know right away! First, my tweet was worthy enough to be retweeted by Jeff Musial who is the coolest dude ever (2nd to Jimmy though), second it retweeted to 11,000+ of Jeff's followers and one of them is Jimmy Fallon!!!!!!!!!!!

You wanna be entertained, watch Jeff's appearences on Late Night!! Every single one of them!!! CLICK THE LINK!! http://www.latenightwithjimmyfallon.com/video/categories/interviews/1255222/p/20/?sort=az&view=thumbnail

Oh and of course I screen printed the proof!

Live From New York, An Unforgettable Show

Maya Rudolf gave the world an unforgettable show this past Saturday! She is the best host since Jimmy! I wish she never left SNL...

The cold open for those who know about Linsanity that is taking over New York. This sketch captured all of the Linsanity puns as well as the media's decision that it's ok to use Asian stereotypes. It turned out to be a great cold open, something we haven't seen in a while. The two black anchors run with the Asian jokes until Taran Killam's character makes a black joke and Kenan's and Jay's characters give him hell.

Watch Here:

I love when people sing in their monolouge! Maya serenaded with an original song, "Do You Want To Funk?" She sung while walking through the backstage where who else but STEFON appears!!

(It's not on youtube but you can find it on NBC.com)

When Maya was on Late Night Thursday and told Jimmy that Amy was going to be on the show I knew there had to be a Bronx Beat sketch!! What made it even better was a suprise appearence by Justin Timberlake!!!!!!!!!! Him and Andy played crew members who were guests. They turned the tables and bantered to Maya and Amy and said how much they loved them. No one can banter as well as Maya and
Amy but hey, they were pretty good!

Watch Here:

The Jay-Z and Beyonce's baby sketch was the best of the night by far! Everybody hit their impressions spot on. I loved when Brad and Angelina (Taran and Abby) tried to steal Baby Blue! The best part of the sketch was when Justin Timberlake as Bon Iver sang and then fell asleep and Maya said, "Oh no, Bon Iver sang himself to sleep." I couldn't stop laughing throughout this whole sketch!

(This sketch isn't on youtube but you should def find it because it is a must see)

Weekend Update was at its best because none other than Amy dropped by for "Really!?! With Seth & Amy! They discussed Congress's all male meeting to discuss birth control.

(Again, not on youtube)

The Super Money Showcase sketch made me laugh, not because of the content, but becaus Bill and Kristen were cracking up! They pulled a classic Jimmy. The sketch was Maya and Kristen talking in weird voices and doing weird things as showcase models.

(not on youtube. DAMN them!)

The Obama Show sketch was a a parody of The Cosby Show. Fred brought back his Barack Obama impression while Maya introduced her Michelle Obama impression.

(not on youtube)

Sleigh Bells was the musical guest. I thought they weren't good at all. You couldn't even hear what the lead singer was singing. If that's their style, well it's not for me.

Live From New York, An Adorkable New Girl

This past Saturday Night Live was hosted by the "New Girl" Zooey Deschanel. I love New Girl the show so I was excited for this episode. It turned out to be pretty good.

The only thing good about the cold open was the adorable golden retriever!!! Just watch it for him!! (Or her).

Watch Here:

The monolouge was sooo good! I love the song, it's catchy!

Watch Here:

The longest running gag of the night was the talented Bill Hader as the motivational Clint Eastwood in that superbowl commercial for Crystler.

Watch Here:

Here's the second ad:

Here's the third ad:

Weekend Update was saved by "Nick Cage" in the "In the Cage" segment. Non other than Nick Cage was the guest! What??? Well you are gonna have to find the vid to see what I mean cause I can't find it on youtube.

One of the best sketches of the night was the French dance featuring a suprise appearence by an oscar nominee!! Watch to see!!

Watch Here:

The musical guests were Karmin and they were gooood!!!! Will def be checking out their album when it comes out in April.

Fallon's Superbowl Special

This past Superbowl Sunday Jimmy Fallon hosted a live show from Indy and it was awesome!!! The opening number was almost as good and his Emmy opening! I can't get the song outta my head!!

Also featured was Superbowl Halftime auditions on The Voice and omg one word.....incredible! Everyone already knows how talented Jimmy is but this segment shows it well!!

Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg were the first guests and they obv were hilarious! I <3 Jimmy's "Sand Man" impression! The Superbowl 46 champs were on too!!! Go Giants!!! Well not the whole team but Justin Tuck, Osi U., and some white guy. Tucking is the new Tebowing!

Here's the lyrics and the opening number!!
There's a party,
It's about to start.
Indianapolis gets crazy after dark.
Follow me,
And I will take you there.
Go ahead, and stay up late,
Crack open a beer.
One more hour
That's all I ask of you.
The game might be over,
But that don't mean it's through.
There's a party,
It's about to start.
Indianapolis gets crazy after dark.
You saw commercials,
And you ate platefuls
Of Guacamole
While you watched the halftime show.
I know you're tired,
but I'm inspired,
So get your second wind.
You watched the Super Bowl (Saw commercials, ate guacamole)
Please don't go to sleep (Watched the halftime show, please don't go to sleep)
You gotta watch the show (Saw commercials, ate guacamole)
Right now
Or DVR it, at least! (Watched the halftime show, please don't go to sleep)
It's a live show
Who knows what's in store
The mayor of Indianapolis
Could walk right through the door.
Forget tomorrow, tonight we go
Berserk.
If you wake up hung over, just call
In sick to work.
(Time to start the show, Late Night Indy)
You watched the Super Bowl (It's almost time to go, please don't go to sleep)
It's time to start the show (Time to start the show, Late Night Indy)
Let's go, let's go (Let's go, let's go, let's go)
Let's go, let's go (Let's go, let's go, let's go)
(let's go, let's go, let's go)
You watched the Super Bowl
Please don't go to sleep
Let's kick it to the Roots
Right now
Won't you take it, Tariq?
[Rap]
Yeah, everybody still awake right
It feels like a great night for some Late Night
You gained weight kid, look at what you ate like
The game's over it's time to celebrate life
Where the action is, what's gonna happen is
The noise making is laughing, hand clapping is
Party from the Big Apple the main attraction is
Jimmy Fallon we live Indianapolis
You watched the Super Bowl (Late Night Indy, live on NBC)
Please don't go to sleep (Please don't go to sleep, It's a kick ass party)
It's time to start the show (Late Night Indy, live on NBC)
Right now (Please don't go to sleep, It's a kick ass party)
'Cuz we made it to Indy

You watched the Super Bowl (Late Night Indy, live on NBC)
Please don't go to sleep (Please don't go to sleep, It's a kick ass party)
It's time to start the show (Late Night Indy, live on NBC)
Right now (Please don't go to sleep, It's a kick ass party)
'Cuz we made it, made it, to Indy
Now that you have the lyrics, watch the video and sing along!

Live From New York, A Double Hosted Episode

When I found out that Channing Tatum was going to be hosting SNL for the first time, I thought that he had the potential to be “a Justin Timberlake” when it came to hosting. Channing was a decent host but I thought they didn’t use him to his full potential. Basically, the writing sucked (well besides all the dancing scenes!). I felt like Bobby Moynihan was the host. He had more airtime than the entire cast combined! Oh and I just learned that Paul Brittain left the show...I didn’t notice at all…that tells a lot. Honestly, I won’t miss him at all. His recurring sex educator sketch got old quickly and his Lord Wyndemere character was dumb (idk why people think it’s funny).

The cold open was basically about a colony on the moon ruled by Newt Gingrich played by Bobby Moynihan. It was a good concept but wasn’t executed well by the cast. When Bobby takes center stage he usually goes all out but he came across as dull. I loved the ending…”My divorce be with you.”
Watch Here:

The monologue was good, with Channing noticing former clients of his (he used to be a stripper…ohhh yeah!) in the audience. The best was Leslie played by Fred, who “died happily” at the end when Channing started to dance.
Watch Here:

The It’s Getting Freaking With Cee Lo Green sketch featured Channing as Matthew McConaughey basically in “Dazed and Confused”. Props to him, it was spot on! Oh and I forgot, he shaked his bongos!!
Watch Here:
 Watch Here:

The last sketch of the night, Bongo’s Clown Room, was wayyyyyyy to long! Jason’s drawn out, dull jokes were accompanied by a midget on Taran Killam’s stomach, Nick Erswet (it makes sense when you say it quickly), and Channing in his element.
Watch Here:

The musical guest, Bon Iver was ok. I’m not into that type of music, so I used it as a bathroom break. The parts that I did watch, I couldn’t understand most of the words the lead singer was singing!

Weekend Update wasn’t that good but did feature again Bobby Moynihan as Guy Fieri (I gotta get that NY/New England multi-layer dip minus the two lobsters that don’t like each other). The best part of Weekend Update was Kristen Wigg’s impression of Lana Del Ray. She was the musical guest last episode and sucked! Anyways, Kristen was spot on, touching herself awkwardly and saying, “I'm stiff, distant and weak. It's my thing. And she was also right when she said, "Based on the public's response, I must have instead clubbed a baby seal while singing the Taliban national anthem.”

Watch Here:

Rebecca’s Bat Mitzvah scored with Tatum’s sexy dancing and Elliot’s skanky older sister. If I was given one wish last night, it would be to be Nasim in this sketch.

The Go-Tech Flex commercial was a good laugh. Tatum’s energy put it over the top. After I write this review I’m ordering one…I want those shorts!!
Watch Here:

The Tom Brady in Ruby Tuesday sketch was about Bobby’s Moynihan’s female “flesh cube” hitting on the Tom Brady the night before the Super Bowl. Moynihan carried the entire sketch while Channing took a back seat.

Watch This "You Fox Face"

On January 18, 2012 late night was at its finest because the legendary Bill Cosby and actor, Anthony Mackie were on. Bill was promoting his new book but the interview was full of him retelling stories of his past and Jimmy or should I say "Jim" (if you watch this episode you'll know why), trying to keep Cosby from walking off the show! Once Cosby was done running the show (again if you watch the episode you'll know what I'm talking about), "Man On The Ledge" actor, Anthony Mackie came on and made the show even funnier!

This is a MUST watch show! If you don't laugh during all of it then there something is wrong with you!!

My fav Anthony Mackie quote..."I make movies that have a title that tells what the movies about. This is a recession, I don't want to make people think."

Must See Video!

I recently discovered, along with 3 milllion other people, this amazing video of a sexy groom dancing for his bride to Justin Bieber's baby! This groom has moves!! I wish I was the bride!! *Hint hint future husband*

Live From New York, A Talented Wizard and A Not So Talented Singer

This past Saturday Daniel Radcliffe hosted Saturday Night Live. I was impressed with him! I've only seen one Harry Potter Movie (not by choice) so I'm not familiar with his work but he is a good actor from what I saw Saturday. His monologue wasn't too bad. He got some laughs when he made fun of adult Harry Potter fans and when Bobby Moynihan, as his classic Snooki and Bill Hader, as the Situation with some hot fake abs, staged a "Jersey Shore Hogwarts".

Watch Here:

Sudeikis' Ricky Gervais was spot on!! I had no clue that Ricky actually drinks during his Golden Globes hosting gigs!!

Watch Here:

OMG Target Lady came back!!! Such a classic!! Wigg makes me laugh everytime. Prob will be the last time they do this skit though :'(

Watch Here:

The "You Can Do Anything Sketch" basically mocked the young digital era. This LMAO sketch was one of the top sketches of the night.

Watch Here:

The Hogwarts Castle 2020 sketch was filled with Harry Potter characters in the year 2020. Paul Brittan's Malfoy was golden along with Hader's Rickman.

Watch Here:

Ok two words about Lana Del Rey's perfomance....SHE SUCKED!! I totally agree with the critics. Along with her shitty voice, she had some weird moments with her hands, i.e., touching her hair and stroking her hips. Both perfomances were terrible. I muted it, that's how bad she was. People who say that she was good need to go to the nearest "Hear Again" and get their ears tested IMMEDIATELY!

Be Prepared Mother Fu…..for…Tickle Me Slutty, Wahlburgers, and Robin Thicke

The Wednesday January 11th 2012 episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon was amazing!!! Best episode of January so far! First up was the Celebrity Whispers, which I always enjoy. You can say it’s stupid but I know deep down in your solemn soul that you love it. Best part of it was Michelle Obama and that lady.

The shout outs were my favorite part of the show. Jimmy always starts this segment out by giving a shout out and then random people follow (members of The Roots and writers of the show). Questlove (I know it’s spelt ?uestlove but whatever) started out promoting himself which was lame but they picked up with Kamal’s shout out to jalapeno peppers (peppers, hot sauce, move out of his way, bitches!) and my fav shout out which was to girl scout cookies!!! I’ve been a girl scout for over ten years so this made me laugh soooo hard!!! I so want to make a parody of it!!! They are delicious ass cookies that we got to sell so that we don’t grow up to be like Snooki! (The last line was great and made it into the title of this post…but “be prepared” is a boy scouts thing!!) The shout out to nuts was funny (that guy warms up the audience before the show…when my mom and I went he was hysterical!). Tariq’s shout out was nothing new (he always makes food and wears that wig (I always wonder how he puts it on when he’s preparing the food…I guess someone else does it) and the Tebow shout out was dumb but the segment ended well with the shout out to celebrity relationships (I could’ve done without so many “maaaans” though!) My fav was Zooey’s! Oh and I bet you will get that song stuck in your head....”You plus me equals looooove!”
Rosie O’Donnell’s interview was good! Gotta love the Did!! I couldn’t stop laughing during their catch phrase game!! Jimmy’s competitiveness mixed with Rosie’s craziness mixed with Paige’s screw up equals a good time! “Tickle Me Slutty!” “When we celebrate we might throw our um in the air….BRAS!” “Cold as a cucumber”  “I’m probably the most uncool guy, idiot!” “She thought I wore panties!” “Donald Trump!”
Wow , three things I never knew….Mark Wahlberg was in prison, The New Kids On The Block played in 2 prisons, and Donnie Walberg is in Blue Bloods. Anyways, I really want to eat a Walburger!!! YUMMMMMMMM! And I gotta say, smart Donnie….no mayo on the Wahlburger!! (For those of you who aren’t Falpals, Jimmy hates mayonnaise cause it reminds him of pus). If you ever go to Wahlburger’s say, “I’ll have a Junior Jail Burger please…with government cheese!”

Live From New York, A Predicted Disappointment

Even though there has been numerous bad episodes of Saturday Night Live, I seem to find myself sitting in front of my tv at 11:30 p.m. every Saturday night.

There's not one host and episode that can live up to the nostalgic show Jimmy Fallon put on on December 17, 2011 (besides Justin Timberlake). When they first announced that Charles Barkley was going to host the first SNL episode of 2012, I knew that it was going to be disappointing. I don't understand why the producers of SNL think that Charles Barkley is such a good host. I know the players and hosts read off of cue cards but most don't make it obvious. He stares at them!! I noticed it even in the promos. Really, you can't memorize "Hi I'm Charles Barkley and I'm hosting SNL this week with musical guest Kelly Clarkson"? Really?

Here are the highlights from this episode......

From the TNT sketch:

  • Kenan Thompson's impression of Charles Barkley
  • "I'd rather be watching Free Willy 2 than Kazaam 1"
  • When Bill Hader broke up Kenan Thompson and Jay Pharoah when he said "We're all black friends!"

From Bowl Names:

All of it! I swear Bill Hader's Stefon came up with all of the names!

From The Charles Barkely Post-Game Translator app sketch:

All of it! Even though it was just a way to make fun of all of the non-answers from coaches and athletes it was still funny.

Kelly Clarkson sang Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) and Mr. Know It All. Both were excellent performances. She's good live!
